Spend time with Christine Trent, author of No Cure for the Dead, the first book in the Florence Nightingale Mysteries series, as she interprets this remarkable woman's life in full regalia and answers your questions about Nightingale's life and work.

Every spring, over 700 individuals across five counties come together to raise money to support our vital mentoring programs at Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Capital Region. Bowl for Kids' Sake is the perfect event for families, friends, company team building and anyone looking for a fun way to support a great cause! It's easy, register at capbigs.org, select your date to bowl, recruit your team, ask friends and family to help you fundraise & join us for bowling, food and fun to celebrate your success! Our mission is to provide children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported one-to-one relationships that change their lives for the better, forever.


 

Evening Weed Walk

Have you always wanted to learn what weeds are edible, medicinal or possible harmful? While strolling the back alleys of Mechanicsburg, we will identify some common weeds and their uses. Have a fun and relaxing evening. Gather in the garden before the walk.
