While not much has changed since the 2023 model year, there are two brilliant additions to the 2024 Ford F-150 Lightning lineup. The new Flash trim level adds only the best technological features, which include the 15.5-inch infotainment touchscreen, the Blue Cruise hands-free driving mode option, the largest battery pack available, and more. Drivers can also pick the new Platinum Black special edition version. This all-black trim level adds a matte-black design, dark wheels, a blacked-out front grille, and many other black design features.

Enjoy the All-Electric Power

The Ford F-150 Lightning has an all-electric powertrain that can be found with plenty of oomph behind the wheel and nearly instant torque to get you moving. Not only can this powerhouse go from zero to 60 MPH in around four seconds, but it also can boast up to 775 pounds-feet of torque, up to 580-horsepower, and a towing capacity of up to 8,500 pounds when fully equipped. Plus, it comes with four different driving modes - Normal, Sport, Tow Haul, and Off-Road - to help you adjust according to your driving needs.

Because it is an electric truck, it will need to be charged. You can install an at-home charger, which allows you to charge your truck as you sleep, and use any of the many public charging stations across the country. No matter how you charge your Ford F-150 Lightning, you'll enjoy up to 300 miles of total range when the truck is properly equipped.

Also, if you have the Intelligent Backup Power feature included, you can use your Ford F-150 Lightning as a generator for your home during emergency power outages. Simply plug in your Ford F-150 Lightning to your at-home charging station, and you could power your house fully for three days or within certain limitations for up to 10 days. Once the power comes back on, you can recharge your truck again.
