Behind the second row, the Explorer gains additional storage volume, increasing to a formidable 47.9 cubic feet. That means you can still carry up to five people and any supplies needed for the next arts-and-crafts night for your kids.

Of course, some of us frequently require more space for home improvement projects. With a maximum of 87.8 cubic feet of cargo room when both rear rows are folded down, you can easily haul that last piece of drywall to finish remodeling the first-floor bathroom.
