If you're in the market for a Ford Super Duty, you should be aware of many great features and trims available to you. The 2019 Ford F-250 trim levels are outstanding. The choice between the XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum, and Limited trims is tough to make. Keep reading to find out which Trim is right for you.

Performance

The XL features a 385 horsepower 6-speed automatic 6.2-liter V8. You can upgrade the XL to a 4x4 and either the Super Cab or Crew Cab. The XLT has the same engine as the XL and is also available as a Super Cab or Crew Cab. Ford's BoxLinkâ„¢ and premium locking system come standard with the XLT, along with additional options for boxes and content. The Lariat also uses the 385 horsepower 6.2-liter V8, which is a powerful engine. The reverse sensing system is a performance technology included with the Lariat.

The King Ranch sticks with the powerful 6.2-liter V8 engine, and, because performance obviously matters more when it's raining, you could have rain-sensing windshield wipers. All trims have as an available option the 6.7-liter Power Stroke® V8 turbo diesel, but it comes standard on the Limited. The performance and safety technologies standard in the Limited are Lane-Keeping Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, and Forward Collision Warning with Brake Support.

Technology

The XLT gives you the option to include SiriusXM™ and has a 4.2-inch display screen. For your convenience, there's also keyless entry. Manual telescopic mirrors are included with the XLT. The Lariat takes it up a notch with technology. There's the 8-inch LCD display at your fingertips, the Sync® 3 media system, HARMAN premium sound, and a Wi-Fi hotspot. The Lariat also includes the handy and functional automatic telescopic and folding trailer-tow mirrors.

The King Ranch has increased hands-free functionality with SiriusXMâ„¢, not just for the radio, but also for navigation and live traffic. On top of keyless entry you get a remote starter, and the powered seats and powered mirrors have a memory function.

The Platinum includes the adaptive steering option and the blind spot safety technology, even around the trailer and with cross traffic. Ford's Intelligent Access with push-button start is standard with the Limited. It includes six upfitter switches. One of the most impressive technologies added to the Limited is the trailer tow camera system, with a split-view display for the 360° camera.

Style

The XL lets you choose from 13 exterior colors. The XLT has 16 exterior colors to choose from. Additionally, standard features include a chrome grille and bumper, cloth seats, carpeted flooring, and powered windows and locks. With 11 colors to choose from, the Lariat has a few less exterior color choices, but you probably won't care so much as you sit in a leather-trimmed, power-adjustable bucket seat with power-adjustable pedals. There's also an appropriate amount of chrome on the grille and tailgate handle.

The King Ranch is based on the style of Kingsville, TX, which gives it a southwestern appeal. The leather trim is Kingsville leather trim, which covers the heated and cooled front seats. The front seats are power-adjustable, have memory foam, and, if you want the King Ranch Crew Cab, you get a heated steering wheel. Many of the seats and floor mats are branded with the "W" that represents King Ranch.

In the Platinum, the front and rear seats are both cooled and heated. On the exterior, if there's a way to fit a performance LED or include stylish chrome, the Platinum does. The Platinum has LED headlights, taillights, and fog lamps. Chrome accents nearly everything, from the exhaust tip to the front tow hooks. The Limited borrows some of the style of the Platinum and takes it a few steps further. Rather than just chrome, the grille, handles, and tailgate are made of satin aluminum. Satin aluminum looks better and sounds better any day of the week.
