The expert engineers at Ford know every truck driver has different needs when it comes to driving. That's why the F-150 comes in three different cab sizes. Depending on how much space you need inside, you'll find one to suit those needs perfectly.

These cab sizes include the standard Regular Cab with one row of seats inside as well as the larger SuperCab and SuperCrew that are equipped with two rows. All offer different exterior dimensions as well.  

In addition, there are also four box styles, so you can accommodate whatever you need to haul in the trunk. This includes the following and their cargo box sizes. How much space in the truck bed will you need?

2020 F-150 Exterior Dimensions

The exterior of the Ford F-150 exudes a large and in-charge mentality on the road no matter which cab size you choose. Let's go over the differences in the outside sizing of this model, so you can get a good feel for which cab has the exterior dimensions you'll need.

Regular Cab: This model of the Ford F-150 is available with a 6.5-foot or 8.0-foot bed. If you opt for the 6.5-foot bed, you'll receive an overall length of 209.3 inches with a wheelbase of 122.4 inches. In both box options, the width measures at 96.8 inches (with standard mirrors).

Cab heights for these models vary. With 4x2, you'll have a height of 75.5 inches and 76.9 inches when the 4x4 system is equipped. In the 8.0-foot bed model, length for the F-150, of course, increases to 227.9 inches with a wheelbase of 141.1 inches.

SuperCab: For trim levels with the SuperCab option, you can choose among a bed of 6.5-feet, 8.0-feet, and 5.5-feet that give you a length of 231.9 inches, 250.5 inches, and 220 inches, respectively. All widths in this class measure at 96.8 inches, but the wheelbases vary. For the 6.5-foot bed, it's 145 inches, 163.7 inches for the 8-footer, and 134.2 inches in the 5.5-foot Raptor.

SuperCrew: Available with either a 5.5-foot bed or a 6.5-footer, the SuperCrew Ford F-150 gives you a width of 96.8 inches. Wheelbases vary from 145 inches to 156.8 inches with a length of either 231.9 inches with the 5.5-foot bed or 243.7 inches with the 6.5-foot bed.

Ford F-150 Interior Dimensions

The inside measurements of all the models stay fairly similar across the board for trim levels and cab sizes. In the front row of all three sizes, you'll receive headroom of 40.8 inches and legroom of 43.9 inches. In addition, the shoulder space comes in at 66.7 inches with 62.5 inches of hip room.

The Regular Cab does not feature a second row of seats inside. However, the SuperCab and the SuperCrew models both do have a second row, giving you extra space for work gear and up to three more seats for family and friends. Passengers in the back seats will receive the following room, the perfect amount of space to stretch out for the ride ahead.
