While some have noted that the MyFord system can be a bit glitchy, most drivers won't have a problem with it at all.

As you might expect from the popular Honda CR-V, this vehicle performs very well, thanks to a 4-cylinder engine that delivers a nice amount of acceleration. Unfortunately, there aren't any more powerful engine options, but many drivers probably won't mind. Fuel economy is rated at 23 mpg in the city and 31 mpg on the highway, which is good for the class. And its 5-speed automatic transmission is responsive and shifts quite smoothly.

The exterior of the CR-V is the same great quality that drivers expect from Honda. The interior is quite roomy, but some of the materials inside aren't of the highest quality. However, there's plenty of cargo space, which is definitely a plus. For features, you're looking at a standard 4-speaker audio system, Bluetooth connectivity, and a few others. Special options include leather upholstery, 7-speaker audio system, heated front seats, sunroof, and satellite radio.

As far as compact SUVs go, the Escape and CR-V are both quite respectable. They both perform well, offer a number of extras, and have plenty of space. Where they differ has more to do with the minute details.
