When you think of the Ford F-150, what comes to mind? Power? Utility? Off-roading capability?
How about fuel efficiency? Probably not. Trucks are great at a lot of things, but efficiency isn't generally one of them. The 2018 Ford F-150 won’t be as efficient as some of the smaller cars and sedans on the market, but it will have engine options that improve on its gas guzzling tendencies.
Its 3.3-liter V6 engine has been rated for 19/25/22 MPG. That’s a full MPG better than the 3.5-liter engine it's replacing from the 2017 F-150. The 2018 truck will also have a 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 rated for 20/26/22 MPG. This is, again, a nice improvement over the new F-150's 2017 predecessor.
