The 2013 Ford Edge is a spunky midsize crossover sports utility vehicle with heart. There are several models to choose from, such as the SE, the SEL, the Limited and the Sport. All are equally handsome with a beautiful interior. MSRP ranges from $27,525 for the SE up to $37,110 for the Sport. This vehicle is one of the most spacious five passenger crossovers with some of the best high-tech features.

 

A 285 horsepower V6 engine is standard on all models, though you may opt for a turbocharged four cylinder engine at a higher price. The gas mileage depends on which model you choose. The SE is 19 miles per gallon city driving and 27 miles per gallon for highway driving. The SEL and Limited's are 18 MPG city and 25 MPG for highway. The Sport comes in last at 17 MPG city and 23 MPG highway.

One of the biggest perks of choosing the 2013 Ford Edge is the interior. It is stylish with a massive amount of features. With the Edge, you do not need to get your keys out to gain entry so no more fumbling for your keys. Available in the SEL, Limited and Sport is the rear view camera that depicts on a 4.2-inch or 8-inch LCD screen what is behind you while you are backing up. With the fold-flat front passenger seat back there is up to 68.9-cubic feet of cargo space.

The 2013 Ford Edge boasts good safety ratings and has some unusual safety features. Offered is a blind-spot monitoring system which will flash a light to alert you of a car in the next lane which is out of your vision. There is an optional collision warning which uses radar sensors to detect a collision.
